My topic was on the role of Women in Islam. The women has to give all her pre-marriage possessions to her husband, and the husband has to pay a dowry. The Quran says that men and women are equal in creation and afterlife. Women have to fast, pray 5 times a day, donate to charity, take a pilgrimage to Mecca, and follow all the rules of Islam. The women is not responsible for the upkeep of the house but should be done. May ask for payment for any work in a domestic atmosphere. The Quran states that woman is not created for the purpose of man, but to benefit each other.

South Korea
Diana could you please switch me to Indonesia because i am from there and I could put more in depth about the problems there. I could also get 1st-hand accounts about how the people fell about living there because i still have family that still lives there.
South Korea:
South Korea is located under North Korea. South Korea is a peninsula that is surround by the Yellow Sea and the Sea of Japan. The Koreas are next to China and Japan. North Korea is very mean to South Korea. We have 30,000 american troops in South Korea to protect the South Koreans for the North. On November 23 North Korea started firing artillery shells on a South Korean island, killing 2 American marines and injuring 3 civillians. There was a Korean war in 1950 to 1953. After the war there was a 8 point peace agreement. We are kinda facing the Soviet Union because the Soviet Union is supporting North Korea while we are supporting South Korea. South Korea has major advancements in nuclear technology.

Street Art
1. That, when you make the art is about having fun with your work. You also need to take pride in your art because everybody is gonna see it eventually. Also the art is also suppose to show and express something but not as direct as writing it out. And that everything in your art has a meaning its not just something put on there to make it look cool.
2. I was amazed that all those famous artist haven't got caught yet or their identity has been exposed yet. Also that there art differs from one person to another. I wonder how to they get all these new ideas for there art, without repeating themselves over again. I was also amazed that they could get their art in all those spaces without getting caught.
3. The artist used their art to convey a message. They represent different subjects that come to their attention. They also use their art to have fun. The artist don't really try to hide the message they put it right out in the open. They don't explain the message but they let the person looking at the art piece look at it in their own way.

Harrison Bergeron Political Cartoon
My political cartoon relates to Harrison Bergeron by the big ant as Diana Moon G. The Queen ant or Diana is holding a hose that will wipe out the whole colony, or in the book the nation. I made Diana a Queen ant because the queen ant is the main person in charge. And in the book she acts like a Queen. The smaller ants are saying " i thought we were equal" shows that Diana enforces the rules but doesn't follow them herself.

Political Cartoon
What is a political cartoon?
Is an illustration which is designed to convey a social or political message. They are often used in place of words to get the point across.
What is the purpose?
To promote social well being or social welfare. While entertaining.

Metamorphosis 3
1. The author changed Gregor into an insect because his family doesn't even treat him like a human. By turning Gregor into a insect the author is saying that Gregor is like many other people that have to work day and night to just pay off their family debt. Most insects don't have their schedule vary from day to day. Just like Gregor's schedule of waking up up at 5 catching the train and going to work. Insects don't do much, but do what they need to do to survive. Just like how Gregor's life goes.
2. Kafka probably chose a roach/beetle because he wants it to be unique. Nobody likes roaches, most people think they shouldn't exist because they don't see the purpose of them. There are advertisement on ways to kill them. Frogs and reptiles have been used alot so changing it up might draw a bit more attention. And you can describe a roach in more detail than a frog. Because everybody knows what frogs look likes, and most people don't pay much attention to what roaches look like before they kill it.

Metamorphosis 2
1. All the family members have different views of Gregor.
Negative. The Samsa family dose more harm to each other then helps each other. Gregors money is taken for granted by his family. "the special warmth was no longer present"(p.10). Gregor has a very stress full life. "Gregor...was in the position to bear the expenses of the entire family"(p.10). Gregor was the only one paying of the family, while everybody is doing nothing. Gregor is also expected to bring in the money.
Positive. The Samsa family also did a little of help to each other. The only family member that still cared about Gregor is his sister. "only his sister stilled remained close to Gregor" (p.10) Another example of the Samsa family working together is when his sister and mother cook. " his sister had to team up with his mother to do the cooking".(p.9) His sister took care of Gregor everyday by feeding him and taking care of him. "she brought him, to test his taste, an entire selection' all spread out on an old news paper"(p.8)
2. 1. Communication
2. Being respectful to your family members
3. Know what they like and dislike
4. Support family members decision
5. Appreciate them for who they are
3. F
They don't talk to each other much.
They don't respect Gregor, they take him for granted.
Only Gregor's sister knew that he liked milk. His dad and mom should know too.
His dad doesn't like the fact that he has to stop working.
His dad shouldn't be mad at him for being a bug. But he should encourage him that being a bug ins't that bad.
